The Financial Accountant is a key role within Tibra's global Finance team, who support Tibra across all facets of financial accounting and management accounting services. This is including, but not limited to:
- daily, monthly and periodic processing for all revenue and expenses
- preparation of budgets and forecasts for the Tibra Group
- annual financial statements and regulatory reporting for Tibra companies
As Financial Accountant, your role will be a 50/50 split of Product Control and Financial Accounting responsibilities. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Daily Product Control including trading position reporting/ reconciliation and external to internal P&L variance analysis
- Completing month end processes and reconciliation
- Preparation of board reports, annual financial statements, internal/ external audits, regulatory and statutory returns, multi-year budgets and forecasts
- Managing transfers of capital to support trading activities
- Researching and drafting of accounting policies and procedures
- Capital calculation and reporting
- Other financial accounting duties as required
To succeed in this role, you will bring the following:
- Accounting qualification with a good understanding of accounting standards
- Product Control experience, including derivatives
- Financial accounting experience including working on month ends
- Extensive understanding of financial markets and the products traded within them
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, databases and query functionality
- Ability to work with SQL
- Knowledge of Netsuite accounting system would be advantageous
