Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Greater Sydney Area for a Speech Language Pathologist. As a Speech Language Pathologist you will work with children, teenagers, who experience difficulties with speech, language, social communication, literacy, and swallowing. You will diagnose and treat various communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatments, and provide guidance and feedback to parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice within the clinic.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
Valid license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Australia
Experience working with diverse populations, including children, teenagers, with communication and swallowing disorders
Knowledge of evidence-based therapies and interventions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals
Empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to manage a caseload, document progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements
Continuing professional development and ongoing maintenance of competency in the field
