Our client is a leading Australian owned Defence Industry SME specialising in design, engineering, integration and support of complex high technology electronics, software, electrical and mechanical systems. They currently support sustainment and acquisition activities for both fixed and deployable communications assets at various locations
They are looking for a qualified Electronics Technicians to join their team to work on complex electronics and communications equipment
The is a Permanent F/T and based in Adelaide
Your new role:
As a Electronics Technician you will:
Perform complex and specialised electronic, electrical/mechanical test and fault finding activities
Install, inspect and troubleshoot electronic equipment
Fabricate, modify and repair Electrical/Electronics Systems
Develop special instrumentation and test equipment to support test and integration activities
Oversee all relevant documentation associated with the specific systems
Work from Schematics, Blueprints and wiring Diagrams
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
An electronics/electrical trade qualification
Previous experience in a similar role in Defence
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Ability to read drawings/routing
An NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain one
Cabling license and experience would be advantagous
Excellent knowledge of all WHSE risk and management
Attractive remuneration package offered comparable with expereience
Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain a Defence Clearance
