Chocolate Destinations Australia Pty Ltd Work side by side with French and Belgian Pastry Cooks, Chocolatiers and local team members who have developed their craft from our Master Chocolatiers and Pastry Chefs.  About Us Our striking Chocolaterie is set on 40 acres of landscaped grounds, 50 minutes from Melbourne City Centre in the stunning Yarra Valley. We have our own orchard, lawn areas and kitchen garden, welcoming 15,000 visitors each week.  The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery is a tourism venue created out of passion. Our personal service and high-quality standards, amazing festivals and ever-growing product range make locals and travelers alike keen to return time and time again.  Our production department is an energy filled, fast paced environment working with the packing team to supply our stunning showroom and busy all day café with chocolate, pastries, and ice cream.  About You You will need an eye for detail, a commitment to exceptional quality and efficient work practices.  All applicants must have resident status in Australia or relevant working visas.  About the Role This is a full-time position working day shifts 5 days per week including 1 weekend day.  Salary will be within the range of $55,000 to $80,000 depending on your experience.  Next Steps If you wish to join the Chocolaterie, please send your resume and covering letter Leadership and Team Member Roles are available at Yarra Glen and also our other Chocolateries on the Surf Coast near Torquay and on the Mornington Peninsula      Benefits Temporary accommodation can be provided for applicants relocating to join our team  Onsite training and accreditation to Certificate 4 in Patisserie for less experienced applicants  Task & Responsibilities Key tasks and responsibilities are  • Work in a safe and responsible manner, report any unsafe work practices to the production manager and conduct routine cleaning of all production facilities and equipment  • Ensuring the superior quality of the raw materials and managing the accurate measurement of the ingredients  • Coordinating and managing with accuracy and efficiency the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of pastry and chocolates and ice creams  • Baking and setting chocolate and pastry products and ice cream as per specifications  • Meeting quality standards and ensuring a high presentation standard for customers Critical to success in this role will be energy and a passion for quality.    Qualification & Experience It will be a given that you will have qualifications in patisserie and at least 2 years practical experience in Pastry and Chocolate and proven ability to work with teams. If you do not have formal qualifications, further years of work experience maybe required    About Company Chocolate Destinations Australia Pty Ltd trades as Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. We also have established and manage 2 other Chocolateries on the Surf Coast near Torquay and on the Mornington Peninsula in the seaside village of Flinders.
