What’s the position all about ?
Providing exceptional service to our customers is a non negotiable, we aim to continuously add value to them and have a lot of respect and understanding of their business and time.
* You will spend time researching prospective clients through social media, google and other industry based directories.
* You will be required to maintain and build a solid database of existing and prospective clients.
* You will be setting up meeting and regularly visiting clients to promote the products and services offered by the business sin the aim to achieve sales.
* You will provide a high level of customer service and assist clients with selecting the most suitable and appropriate products for their projects.
* You will regularly follow up on all quotes and opportunities and work towards converting them into orders anda sales.
* You will work with the clients and warehouse team to ensure the products are delivered in a scheduled manner that meets and exceeds the clients expectations.
* You will compile and provide monthly reports that include current sales, orders in progress and opportunities.
* You will provide an after sales service function and follow up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with their purchases and assist in resolving any issues or concerns.
Who are you and is this the position for you ?
* You are a natural, genuine and experienced sales professional
* You have minimum 5 years experience as a Technical Sales Rep within the furniture or lighting industry
* You are friendly and outgoing with a positive can do attitude.
* You have experience setting up your own diary and managing your time accordingly
* You have been around the block and this is not your first rodeo, you understand what it takes to be a part of a team, build a network, chase the projects and create a healthy pipeline of opportunities
* You know the importance of looking after existing clients while constantly exploring new opportunities
* You are an experienced communicator and very comfortable presenting to a group of people.
* You work well autonomously and an excellent team player
* Your attention to detail is one of your best attributes
* You have a head for numbers with a creative flair for opportunities
* You have a personal passion for design, architecture and quality.
* Understanding the value of quality products and not afraid to sell high ticket items
* Have a valid and unrestricted drivers license
* Have your own reliable vehicle
Remuneration and hours
* Base Salary will be between $80,000 and $90,000 depending on current experience
* A car allowance will be offered
* Bonus salary structure offered after probation period
* Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and remuneration includes 12x Saturday shifts per year from 10am to 2pm
