Key Responsibilities:
• Developing architectural design concepts, preparing design presentations, working drawings and construction issue drawings.
• Selecting materials, colours, and finishes for various residential projects.
• Coordinating with design consultants, builders, and clients to achieve aesthetically appealing and functional spaces.
• Incorporating Safety in Design principles to ensure safely constructable designs, as well as liaising with the site team on construction issues, and assisting to inspect finished works
• Managing project timelines and ensuring the delivery of designs within budget.
• Preparation of information for various project stakeholders (Project Managers, Site Team, Council, Private Certifiers)
• Ensuring compliance with the latest Australian building standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in residential architectural design.
• Proficient in 3D design software (such as SketchUp or AutoCAD) and project collaboration software (such as Procore).
• Strong knowledge of the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and client-management skills.
Remuneration: A Total Remuneration Package of $100,000 (including superannuation) based on full-time employment to be awarded to the successful applicant.
