Outlet Manager
Full Time | Salary $70,000 - $80,000

About the role:
As the Outlet Manager at Sea World Resort – Australia’s only theme park accommodation provider, you will ensure efficient running of assigned Food & Beverage outlets, achieving expected levels of guest & team member satisfaction while delivering the desired revenue and profitability.
Duties:
• Control, monitor and report expenditure and labor hours and costs against expenses and wages budgets
• Ensure rosters are completed and payroll approvals are done in line with business levels and legislative requirements
• Manage the various Food and Beverage outlets to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively and oversee stock levels
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and provide input into menu design
• Develop, recommend and implement an upsell program and ensure targets are achieved through diligent monitoring and relevant training
• Oversee the management and co-ordination of the Food & Beverage teams including resource planning, recruitment and performance management
• Ensure guest satisfaction and personalisation of service needs, including specific Food and Beverage requests for all VIP guests
• Set high service standards with the delivery of appropriate training to team members enabling great experiences to guests
• Partner with VRTP Group Occupational Health and Safety team to ensure a safe and healthy workplace and environment for all team members, guests, and contractors.
• Receive and review relevant health and safety information and reports to ensure all areas are compliant
• Responsible for liquor, food safety and compliance with DOSA (Smoking regulations) and maintaining accurate registers.
Skills and Experience:
• Previous exposure to Theme Parks and associated accommodation providers
• Proven experience (min 2 years) in successfully leading a team and maximizing performance
• Previous experience in an International Hotel chain
• Previous experience in a 4.5 – 5 star Resort
• Ability to understand outlet budgets and forecasts
• Exposure to high volume Food & Beverage outlets
• RSA required (valid in Qld)
• Hold relevant tertiary education in hospitality (eg. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management).
• Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue (RMLV) is desirable (valid in Qld)
