We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part Time Handyperson to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's maintenance. We are looking for approximately 3 days a week of coverage, ideally Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday but are willing to negotiate for the right candidate.
With a variety of tasks as a part of your role, your day could involve conducting property walks and equipment checks, preventative maintenance, attending to guest requests in their rooms, being a fire warden, assisting the Housekeeping team with room reconfiguration, assisting trades on site…and the list goes on.
What will you be doing?
- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the Hotel. This includes basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning service and repairs.
- Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
- Ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order.
- Performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required.
- Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.
