Responsibilities
- Conducting routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements
- Diagnosing and repairing various mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Performing safety inspections and recommending necessary repairs
- Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Communicating effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and recommended repairs
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technology by attending trainings and workshops
- Ensuring a clean and organized work area at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Car Mechanic, preferably in a light vehicle repair setting
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and individually
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
