Boss Engineering Pty Ltd is a large manufacturer of Broadacre Planters, Row Crop Machinery, Air Seeders, Trailers, and Accessories used in the farming sector throughout rural Australia. Established in 2007, we have 16 years of experience in servicing the expanding Agriculture and Transport sectors whilst adopting the latest engineering and manufacturing techniques. Welding is a critical aspect of manufacturing agricultural machinery and plays a crucial part in our production.

Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Welder to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Welder, you would be responsible for the following:
• MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless components based on the specification of the blueprints and/ or drawings.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and/ or drawings to determine the specifications of the welding requirements.
• Setting up the welding machines based on the job at hand.
• Assembling items as instructed by supervisor.
• Following work health and safety rules and companies’ policies and procedures.
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy and taking care of all equipment and facilities.
• Lifting raw materials and finished products up to 25kg manually, or hoist/ forklift provided.
• Providing great attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Performing other duties as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Technical proficiency in welding techniques and practices
• Technical qualifications in welding
• Previous experience in undertaking complex welding techniques such as TIG or MIG welding
• An ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment with excellent communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage and prioritize personal workloads to meet or exceed scheduling targets

Salary
If successful, you will be paid a salary ranging between $70,000 to $90,000 per annum.
