Production Manager role with Fast-Growing Australian Animation Studio Your new company Come join an independent animation studio that has organically grown their own YouTube channels. They continue to grow year-on-year, by delivering exciting series and storylines to their millions of fans. Your new role This independent animation studio is looking for a highly capable, analytical, and organised Production Manager to help manage, monitor, orchestrate and schedule production needs in all departments and across all their original content. This position requires a strong understanding of series and content pipelines as it will require you to plan far ahead on what will be required for each project and department. This role will see you using advanced problem-solving and management skills to ensure that the team produces content according to schedules and deadlines. You will work with our department leads to improve the efficiency of our pipeline and minimise disruptions in workflow. Your duties will include: ? Managing the schedules of all departments in our animation production pipeline and ensuring production is able to deliver on schedule. ? Coordinating the needs and resources of the production team with external departments, such as marketing and merchandise. ? Facilitate effective communication between departments to minimise confusion and ensure everyone is working to the same goal. ? Organise team members and use critical problem-solving skills to prevent disruptions to workflow. ? Plan effective allocation of resources to projects to stick to pre-approved production budgets and timelines. ? Help with the introduction and development of new tools and pipelines to increase the efficiency of the production team, and then either executing or directing the execution of those tools/pipelines. What you'll need to succeed ? Experience of managing a project in the 3D animation/game development space. ? Experience with management software such as Asana, Trello, or Shotgrid. ? Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think independently. ? Strong problem-solving skills. ? People management and conflict resolution experience. ? Ability to learn and adapt quickly to an incredibly fast-paced environment. ? Initiative and a desire to improve efficiency and workflow. What you'll get in return ?
