About Day Oncology - Brighton Cabrini Brighton is a 20 chair Day Oncology Unit offering our patients access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive care. There are opportunities to participate in nurse led research and career advancement. About the role The role covers all aspects of patient care while undergoing treatment, including education, chemo administration, patient assessment and follow-up and referral. This is a permanent part time position. Key responsibilities
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Delivering care to patients to meet Cabrini's organisational goals.
Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
Work respectfully within the team to deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values.
About you You will bring at least 3 years relevant experience in medical Oncology/Chemotherapy The ideal candidate will have finished or be working towards their post grad qualifications in Oncology. You will also have the following:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
You will have excellent time management and attention to detail along with the ability to work efficiently.
Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
