Seven Migration on behalf of Portfolio Property Investments (PPI Property Group)
Overview:
PPI Property Group are an award-winning Development and Construction Company specializing in custom designed and architectural homes.
We are looking for a Carpenter with experience in residential construction to work within our team. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week, based in Brisbane, QLD.
Main tasks
• Measure, cut, shape, nail, and assemble wood, composite materials, or other construction materials, to establish layout based on blueprints or instructions, and according to project requirements.
• Take measurements of distances and materials to establish the dimension/size of a structure.
• Select and source appropriate timbers and materials based on project specifications and quality standards.
• Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
• Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• Suggest improvements or modifications to enhance project quality and efficiency.
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate and execute construction projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with building safety regulations to minimize risk of workplace accident.
Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:
- Certificate III in Carpentry, plus minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience.
Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:
- Reliable.
- Great communicator.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Hard-working.
- Able to execute all aspects of carpentry from start to finish.
