FULL TIME RESTAURANT MANAGER NEEDED

We are looking for an exceptional to lead our energetic and dynamic team at Upper Coomera..

The person we are looking for to fill the role of restaurant manager will be someone with the right attitude & flexibility to work within a team environment, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. This position has the highest focus on customer service, revenue growth & team management.

Annual Salary will be $70,000 to $75, 000, and additional Superannuation.

You will be required to do the following tasks & duties:

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Overall accountability for the people, product, service, and upkeep of the department
Liaising with the kitchen and maintain quality control for all food served
Rostering according to budget guidelines and demand
Maintain the costs of the business – wage, beverage, maintenance and expenses costs as per budgets/targets
Monitor stock rotation, ordering, and stock control
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Ensuring all food operations are compliant with relevant regulations and COVID safety management


Skills Required:

Must have restaurant and bar management experience, and additional experience in catering management would be preferable.
Must have good knowledge of Banquet and Catering functions.
Exemplary leadership skills with a focus on staff development.
Exceptional service skills and guest focus with a solid understanding of management practices.
Must have an understanding of financial budgets/targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skill.
Team player with a passion for serving authentic Indian cuisine of excellent standard.


Qualifications/Experience Required:

Have an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality.
At least 3 years of Restaurant Manager experience in a busy commercial restaurant or in banquet venues..
Have a commitment to quality, consistency and presentation.
