A Grade Building Solutions Pty Ltd is a licensed building company, which focuses on residential construction and masonry works. Our client base is Sydney metropolitan area.
We are looking for a reliable and qualified Bricklayer to join our team!
Duties and responsibilities:
•Reading and working accurately from detailed plans and specifications
•Lays building materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures.
•Measures distance from reference points and marks guidelines ono working surface to lay out work.
•Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials.
•Operating brick cutting machines.
•Erecting scaffolding (subject to license requirements)
•Repairing and maintaining clay bricks, cement blocks/ bricks and related structures.
•Spearing layers of mortar up serve as a base and binder for bricks in rows, designs or shapes; and spreading mortar between joints.
•Taps blocks with trowel to level, align, and embed in mortar, allowing specified thickness of joint.
•Breaks bricks to fit spaces too small for whole brick, using edge of trowel or brick hammer.
•Supervise junior labourers to ensure the quality of work completed.
Requirements:
· Minimum Two years’ Experience in Construction Industry
· Passion for manual work and self-motivated
· Ability to work in a team and work independently
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· A current White Card
· Drivers License (Preferable)

Salary: $70,0000 to $80,000 per annum + superannuation
