Your new role In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Planning of all import and export movements from terminals
Requesting and planning of slot allocations
Forecasting and planning the required volume in advance
Monitoring and planning of transport reports
Maintaining the system's data integrity
Regularly responding to stakeholders both internal and external
Replying and sending regular emails to customers and the wider internal team
Advising the account management team of any updates with relation to costs
Liaising regularly with terminals
What you'll need to succeed
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in liaising with external stakeholders
Strong data entry skills with a high degree of attention to detail
Proven computer literacy
Ability to manage your time effectively to meet ongoing and changing requirements
A fair degree of initiative to seek out solutions in a timely manner
Experience in a freight forwarding environment
