As a result of strong growth, they have recently set up shop in Melbourne's north-west, continuing to bring in new business and are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to drive their operation forward. Your new role As a leading hand in this business, you'll be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager along with carrying out the tasks below:
Processing of all inbound and outbound orders
Inventory control and quality assurance
Assisting with team guidance and stepping into the Warehouse Manager role when needed
Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Driving a positive workplace culture
Work very closely with the Warehouse Manager to assist with the continued set up of the new site
Regular use of an HR forklift
What you'll need to succeed
Excellent communication skills with experience in working closely with a manager, warehouse hands and customers
A strong willingness to drive operational efficiencies
An understanding of 3PL operations
WMS experience
A strong drive to grow within a business in the long-term
FL licence
Proven ability to lead by example and to assist in providing direction to the warehousing team
