Equipment & Transport Specialists (ETS) being an Authorized Scania Service Centre is seeking qualified heavy vehicle technicians to join our growing team. Suitable applicants must have a Heavy Vehicle (Truck) trade certificate and 5 years + of post trade experience. These positions are full time. Salary level is based on $40 - $50/hr. and total salary is up to $130,000 plus per annum for the right applicant.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Servicing, maintenance, repairs and field service breakdowns
• Technical diagnosis of faults – electrical and mechanical
• Scania warranty tasks - training provided
• General mechanical work on all makes and models of Trucks / Trailers / Wheel Loaders / Excavators / Skid Steers / Tractors etc….
• Auto-Electrical & Air-Conditioning experience is of advantage
• Field service and after-hours breakdowns on a call out roster.
Qualifications/Skills/experience required:
• Heavy Vehicle Transport (Truck) trade certificate
• All general heavy machinery mechanical experience
• Scania / European truck experience is of major advantage
