Jack of All Fades is now looking for an experienced Hairdresser/ Barber to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Train junior hairdressers with cutting and coloring techniques;
Cleaning hairbrushes, combs, and other tools used in hair care;
Communicating with clients about their hairstyle preferences and any concerns they may have regarding their hair care;
Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner;
Shampooing, cutting, coloring and highlighting hair;
Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits;
Acting as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products;
Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools;
Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks);
Manage bookings and serve walk-ins;
Cleaning work stations and sanitising equipment throughout the day;
Washing, conditioning, cutting, coloring and styling hair;
Manage and oversee junior hairdressers;
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Hairdresser;
Strong communication and customer service skills;
Ability to provide all kind of haircuts and colouring;
Patient and detail oriented;
Excellent organisational and management skills;
Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
