SRSP is a leading paediatric speech pathology clinic in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We have two clinics based in Greensborough and Bundoora and will enter 2024 with a team of: 15 speech pathologists, 2 AHA's and an admin team of 3.

We provide speech pathology intervention for children in clinic through; 1:1 sessions, Telehealth, AHA programs, and school holiday group sessions.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at Sounds Right Speech Pathology located at our Bundoora or Greensborough clinic. The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and supporting children with speech, language and communication differences. The Speech Language Pathologist will create treatment plans, set goals, and provide ongoing therapy to clients. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as OT's, paediatricians, and psychologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for their clients.

 

What you can expect from us:


Market leading remuneration. Total packages from $105,000 p/a + Bonus incentives (2 years minimum experience)
$3,000 annual PD budget + 2 days PD leave per year
Planned supervision plus ‘drop in sessions’ throughout the week with supervisors.
On-site access to supervisors to provide direct support with observations, clients and clinical questions
Team of 15 speechies working together in a clinic (we do not work remotely)
24/7 google chat channel to share resources and ask clinical questions to the team
Structured induction program with a gradual increase in caseload
Client free Friday afternoons
Capped caseloads with daily administration

Qualifications


Speech Pathology degree
Ability to create effective treatment plans and set relevant goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Experience working with children with speech and language differences
Passion for helping others and improving quality of life
Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech Pathology
Current certification from the Speech Pathology Association of Australia
Professional Indemnity Insurance
National Police Check
Working with Children's Check
NDIS worker check


 

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience working in a similar role, a willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with current research and best practices, effective time management skills and a growth mindset with a can-do attitude.
