Salary : $70,000 - $90,000 a year

Their architecturally designed, boutique space boasts a light-filled front bar, relaxed pub dining, a cosy lounge and fireplace setting, private function areas and guest accommodation.
The George Hotel is seeking experienced Restaurant Managers to join their team.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and proactively manage the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts including front of house and back of house
- Coordination of bookings (including functions and events)
- Manage and motivate restaurant team
- Train new employee and provide ongoing training
- Stock purchasing and control.
- Support management to achieve targets and goals
- Ensuring safety, sanitation and security procedures
- Develop and implement restaurant policies
Skills and Experience:
- Cert III in Hospitality or other Management qualification
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of OH&S requirements and instruction and carry out OHS requirements and 'lead by example'
