As a Retail Buyer, your primary responsibility is to curate and procure merchandise for retail stores. This entails sourcing products locally, nationally, and internationally. Some travel may be necessary for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Trend Identification:
-Demonstrate a keen understanding of consumer trends, product life cycles, and marketplace segmentation.
-Possess knowledge and insights into the competitive landscape to identify gaps and opportunities.
-Provide clear briefs to internal teams and vendor partners regarding strategy and direction.
Strategy Development:
Continuously review and refine the brand's offensive strategy.
Aim to surpass customer expectations in all aspects.
Vendor Management:
Establish strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with vendors to position Myebike as a key industry leader.
Negotiate key aspects such as product access, margins, timelines, and support to drive optimal results and profitability.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Buying and broader Product teams to foster an enterprise mindset and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
Ideally, prior experience as a Buyer overseeing multiple categories in a dynamic and fast-paced business.
Strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in developing and executing business and brand strategies.
Excellent time management skills.
A positive team player who influences people and contributes positively to the business.
A passion for bikes and Sports is a significant advantage.
Language Requirement:
Fluency in Portuguese is essential due to our expansion plans into Brazil.
