Position : Full Time
Location : Asquith NSW
Salary : $65,000- $110,000 per year
Hornsby Prestige Smash Repairs has been overwhelmed with the increasing workload and needs to expand their team. They are currently looking for a hardworking dedicated experienced Panel Beater to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making assessments of damaged vehicles, deciding how best to repair it and estimating the time and cost for the repair.
- Mending rusted parts of a vehicle’s bodywork.
- Removing any dents in panels.
- Repairing minor scratches or making replacement panels.
- Welding new or repaired panels into place.
- Operating tools/equipment/car alignment systems
- Reporting on faults
- Strip and reassemble vehicles and components
- Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer.
- Keeping records of all work carried out.
- Eye for detail: You will need to have good attention to detail, especially when finishing the repair to match the rest of the bodywork, vehicle repair methods/guides
- Completing job efficiently, checking safety and quality requirements
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant Trade qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience
- A keen eye for details
- Adhere to all work, health and safety policies and procedures
- Great team player
