Mechanical Engineering Technician
Full-Time
Salary $80k - $100k
FITT Resources specialises in the supply of premium mechanical engineering products, parts and servicing, for rotating and static equipment, across a range of industrial activities.
We deliver “tank to tank” solutions that reduce whole-of-life costs through improved equipment efficiency and reliability, reduced energy consumption and downtime.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assembling and installing mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance of machinery.
• Maintaining records and monitoring the availability of parts.
• Training co-workers.
Main Duties:
• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems
• Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to
prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns,
as well as performing repairs.
• Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and
equipment settings.
• Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of
machines and plant.
• Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical
machinery and equipment.
• Selecting tools and equipment.
• Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
Collecting and analysing data.
Qualifications:
Suitable certification or relevant experience
Experience:
A minimum of two years' experience in a similar environment
