Our Independence team helps the firm, its partners and staff manage a range of regulatory and professional requirements to ensure the firm’s independence from audit and assurance clients. We deliver advice to a broad range of internal stakeholders on the Independence requirements surrounding PwC’s relationships and interactions with third parties, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We’re looking for an Independence Senior Associate to manage Global compliance systems and processes to clear and monitor independence requirements within our vast community of solvers.

You'll learn plenty as you ensure the independence compliance processes are running smoothly and efficiently, being responsive and providing a high level of service to PwC partners and staff, in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.
As an expert in Risk and Reputation, you’ll solve problems involving maintenance of the systems, following processes. As well as escalating issues, actioning requests from staff and providing general advice. In our Independence team, you’ll also use your analytical and communication skills, focus on client service and ability to work with teams to:
Be trained on the relevant regulations and policies and able to provide complete, accurate advice on the regulations and policies.
Support and work with PwC partners and staff across Australia to assist them in fulfilling the regulatory and policy requirements.
Provide a professional and timely approach in responding to email, phone and face to face enquiries
Perform key compliance procedures including reviewing results of compliance testing
Maintain accurate records for compliance systems and controls
Provide assistance to the business on the use of compliance systems
Escalate to senior team members as to whether there is a conflict of interest
Evaluate the effectiveness of current training modules to ensure its effectiveness
Support in development and implementation of dynamic and engaging training modules to enhance compliance
