We are looking for a qualified and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing cash flow and budgeting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and providing financial advice to support our business goals.
As a part of this role, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing policies and procedures for budgeting and accounting
Producing and presenting financial statements to various stakeholders and authorities
Performing financial investigations, audits, and reports, and providing guidance on issues such as business transactions, capital financing, fraud, insolvency, and taxation
Analyzing and monitoring the income and expenditure of organizations
Ensuring the reliability and compliance of financial information and reports
Advising on financial and tax implications of business structures, plans, and operations
Completing tax returns for individuals and organizations
Collaborating with financial institutions and brokers to set up funds management arrangements
Establishing and maintaining accounting systems, and recommending computer- based accounting solutions
Preserving internal control systems
Evaluating the cash flow and financial risk of capital investment projects (if applicable)
To excel in this position, you should have the following qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field
Proficiency in MYOB and payroll management Proven understanding of accounting standards, financial statements
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively Strong work ethic and positive outlook.
