The Mulberry Group is now looking for a Restaurant Manager as we continue to grow.

With a number of new projects on the horizon we have an opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to join the company and take a key leadership role.

The Mulberry Group is a growing hospitality company within Victoria with venues including Hazel, Dessous, Lilac, Heide Kitchen, Liminal, Square One Rialto and Common Ground Cafe, which proudly sits upon our farm out in Freshwater Creek, featuring a regenerative agriculture program supporting the community through our social enterprise Staying Grounded

Who we are looking for:

The successful applicant will be a customer service driven professional ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example on the floor, with the objective of delivering outstanding guest experiences. In addition, they will have a solid understanding of BOH operations and what it takes to run a successful hospitality business.

To be considered for this role you must have:

A genuine passion for giving warm and engaging hospitality
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a comparable position
Outstanding leadership and motivational skills
A proven track record of managing food and beverage COG's and wage targets on a high-volume level.
Experience in recruitment & rostering
The ability to create and lead engaging training programmes for the staff
The initiative to come up with new ideas to help drive the business forward
Experience interpreting a P&L and reporting on forecasting and ongoing business development.
A solid understanding of the Restaurant Award 2020
Excellent all round knowledge of food and wine
