Main responsibilities:
1. Adhere to safety procedures on construction sites.
2. Ensure order and cleanliness in the work environment.
3. Identify problems and malfunctions in equipment.
4. Prepare a report on the time and costs of interventions.
5. Repair faults, replace worn parts, and broken components.
6. Disassemble and reassemble equipment parts.
7. Ensure safe operation and productivity of equipment.
8. Test the equipment to verify problem resolution.
9. Perform routine and extraordinary maintenance activities on equipment.
10. Update machine logs and provide the site manager with a report on the interventions carried out.
11. Support the supervisor in department activities.
12. Respect and promote the Code of Ethics, procedures, and safety regulations in compliance with current legislation.
Main hard skills:
1. Principles, procedures, and mechanical execution methods.
2. Knowledge of equipment (operation and maintenance manuals, performance, limitations, mechanical components and spare parts, manufacturers, etc.).
3. Understanding, interpreting, and producing technical documentation (drawings, diagrams, etc.).
4. Knowledge of assembly and disassembly techniques for machinery and related components.
5. Performing measurements and checks on mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
6. Knowledge and use of appropriate tools and equipment for assigned tasks.
7. Diagnosis (troubleshooting) of mechanical problems and fault assessment.
8. Routine and extraordinary maintenance, detailed maintenance/repair log compilation.
9. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic concepts.
10. Reliable estimation of intervention times and costs.
The hourly rate range is 48AUD-55AUD
