1. Agricultural Technician
Applicants must have at least a Diploma or 3 years of relevant experience.
2. Vegetable Grower
Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience
All applicants must meet the following criteria:

An understanding of produce specifications and quality and food safety standards.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Constant monitoring of the Farm.
Sound knowledge in Farm Techniques and Management.
To be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.
Duties for Agricultural Technician
Inspecting and monitoring growth rates against targets.
Nutrient Management Planning.
Assisting in developing new methods of planting, fertilising, harvesting and processing crops to achieve top land usage
Assisting in controlled breeding experiments to develop improved crop
Identifying pathogenic micro-organisms and insects, parasites, fungi and weeds harmful to crops and assisting in devising methods of control.
Duties for Vegetable grower
Constant Monitoring of the farm to make sure that it is well maintained.
Planning and coordinating the production and marketing of crops, from plant preparation to harvest taking into account environment and market factors.
Selecting and planting seeds, seedlings and grafting new varieties to root stocks.
Maintaining crop production by de-budding and pruning and maintaining optimal growing conditions.
Organizing and conducting arming operations, such as collecting, storing, grading and packing produce and organizing the sale, purchase and dispatch of produce.
Directing and overseeing general farming activities such as fertilizing and pest and week control.
Maintaining farm buildings, fences, equipment and water supply systems.
Maintaining and evaluating records of farming activities, monitoring market activityand planning crop preparation and production to meet contract requirements and market demand.
Managing in a hand-on capacity, the growing team and all production.
Forecasting and reporting on production figures and quality.
A remuneration package is between $70,000 to $90,000 plus Superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
