POSITION DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Compliance Officer role is two-folds:
1. To provide high level support to Compliance Team, including training and development of Staff, Compliance document control, and developing and updating Compliance Policy and Procedures, forms, and templates
2. To manage Candidate’s compliance documentation and facilitate the placement of temporary and permanent Candidates into health services, general practices and resource sectors across Australia. The focus of the role will be to work alongside the Team Leader in Compliance to facilitate more effective Compliance processes to ensure placement of Doctors have no issues. The Senior Compliance Officer will send out relevant paperwork; follow up to ensure all required documentation is completed and returned within specified time period; and all relevant compliance documents are provided by the candidate. The role will ensure that doctors receive all the relevant paperwork required to allow for consultants to place the candidate into the workforce.

The Compliance Officer must have the knowledge in specific areas in Compliance, able to establish relationships, and exude training skills to provide excellent customer service to Candidates, Clients, and provide support to the team. It is expected that professionalism, communication and individualised service is maintained, so that all parties are satisfied.

Qualifications required for this role:
A relevant qualification in a Health-related field or Business is required.
A background in business and/or medical administration will also be highly regarded.

Other experience necessary for this role?
At least 2 years’ experience in a related health field, recruitment or compliance is required
