The role:
We currently have fantastic opportunities available for several Mechanical fitters/machinist's to work at our Gladstone location with site work also available.
Salary ranging from $83,000 plus super plus allowances.
Duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Machinists:
• Manual Lathe
• Horizontal boring
• Onsite machining exp preferred
• Mech fitting experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineered prints, drawings & OEM instructions
• Ability to work in team environment, but also at times alone with minimal supervision
• A serious and focused approach to health & safety
Fitters:
• Maintenance experience
• Bolting and/or Oil flushing experience
• Polishing
• Flange Management
• Exposure to valves
• High pressure pneumatic & hydrostatic testing
• Ability to work in team environment, but also at times alone with minimal supervision
Licences & tickets required:
• Must have Cert III Mechanical trade (Preferred)
• Must have White Card
• Confined space (within 2 years)
• Rigging/dogging ticket
• 3 site medical (advantageous)
• Working at heights (within 2 years)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
