We are currently seeking experienced full-time Chefs to join our team for our brand new three story venue Jacksons on George. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate; hard working people with a passion for food and service are the right kind of people for us.
We're recruiting leadership positions, with plenty of opportunities for career growth within as the venue evolves. As a 7 day a week business; flexibility and willingness to work weekends and public holidays is a must.

This role offers you:

Rotate sections every 3 months to get a good overview of everything.

You must have the following attributes:
1. Suitable qualifications and have had at least 2/3 years post apprenticeship experience, references will be contacted;
2. To organise and set up their section as to maximise speed and productivity.
3. Work under the supervision of Senior Chefs and carry out duties as per instruction
4. To ensure that all dishes are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
5. Experience training staff and apprentices;To monitor food and operating costs by purchasing products to Kitchen’s daily requirements and reducing wastage;
6. Be efficient;
7. Strong dedication to your craft;
8. Able to adapt in a fast-paced work environment and can work as part of a team. Able to troubleshoot and adapt;
9. Monitoring equipment to ensure quality of production;
10. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards;

This is a full-time position and requires a good deal of dedication.
