Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 a year
Dunsteel Engineering Pty Ltd is a leading steel fabrication business with over 50 years of experience. They specialise in delivering complex projects for leading building firms and architects. Dunsteel are at the forefront of prefabricated stairway design for large multistorey buildings.
Dunsteel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Maintenance Fitters to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and testing machinery.
- Grinding, cutting, and shaping metal and other raw materials
- Repairing, maintaining, and operating large pieces of machinery
- Operating specialised tools to manufacture parts.
- Performing regular maintenance on machinery, diagnosing, and repairing any faults
- Setting guides, stops and other controls for tools and setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings supplied by machine manufacturers.
- Preparation and undertaking of predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Mechatronics and hydraulics qualifications and experience is highly regarded.
- At least 2 years work experience
- Have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace.
