About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, analytically-minded Assistant Accountant to join our experienced Strategy and Operations team, covering a range of day-to-day accounting functions and processes within the Minderoo Philanthropic group.
Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing month end process for assigned areas including bank reconciliations, AR, AP, fixed assets, WIP, leases, and accruals
- Preparing end to end financial statements for assigned entities
- Base business accounting tasks including actioning aged balances and performing vendor payment reviews
- Maintaining adequate working papers to substantiate records in accordance with accounting standards
- Supporting finance team during external audit process
- Adhoc tasks and reporting as required.
