The trade marketing team is the B2B in-house marketing function at Nine, including marketers, event managers and designers creating meaningful campaigns and events that influence and change the perception of Nine’s brands and products in the eyes of advertisers, creative agencies, media buyers and industry press. The division sits within Nine’s Group Marketing function.
Working with the Head of Events and Operations, the manager role is the second most senior role in the events team. As such, you will have input into the events strategy, bring new ideas and improvements to Nine’s events and work collaboratively and sometimes independently to deliver the events schedule.
- Lead the event process end-to-end, including event strategy, creative, development and implementation
- Work with internal stakeholders to create and develop a strategic overview for the business and work towards executing plan to drive commercial success
- Confidently take charge and independently deliver events within the annual events team calendar, leveraging your proven experience, meticulous attention to detail, quick adaptability to processes
- Set up project plans that identify key areas of responsibilities, outline venue management, keynote speakers (if applicable), AV and production, onsite branding etc
- Post event, collect all feedback via surveys and debrief meetings, obtain all invoices and finalise budget
