As Guzman y Gomez continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join the team. The Payroll Officer will play a crucial role ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of our Payroll. They will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes and providing vital support to the wider teams.
What you can expect:
- Integration of new hires into relevant systems
- Review and complete termination workflows
- Monitoring timecards and exceptions
- Assisting with timecard and employee set up inquiries
- Managing leave entries
- Daily review of hours and exception reporting
- Reviewing payroll reports and cross-checking HR actions and Payroll changes
- Facilitating payroll sign-offs
- Ensuring timely issuance of payslips
- Investigating and resolving post payroll queries
- Preparing termination off cycle runs
- Monthly system reconciliation
- Supporting franchisees with payroll processing queries
- Documenting payroll processing procedures
- Managing and responding to payroll inquiries
- Checking and approving pay reports
You’ll enjoy this role if you have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced multi-site environment
- Experience with Preceda, ichris or Tanda is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
- Ability to understand, interpret and explain payroll and T&A data
- Ability to understand and interpret awards
- Personable and approachable demeanour
