At Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa, we have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join us!
In this Full Time role you will create memorable experiences for our guests through:
- Supervision of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, leading by example at all times
- Be involved in the design of menus and recipes and the execution of preparation of those recipes to the highest standards for the section and others when necessary
- Ensuring a consistent high quality in the preparation and presentation of all kitchen products showing variety and flair in all food items within the cost margins specified by the hotel
- Provide guidance, support, training and leadership to employees and focus on developing the skills and capabilities
- Ordering, waste management and other duties as required.
- Preparation and presentation of menu items showing variety and flair, within the cost margins specified by the hotel.
- Assisting the Head Chef with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service.
- Liaise with Restaurant colleagues regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes.
