Presently, we are launching two other successful UK businesses in the Australian market. As we continue to grow at pace, we are seeking an extraordinary multitasker to join our dedicated team.

The Job:

As a HR Specialist, you’ll enjoy a variety of responsibilities across the HR space, including recruitment activities, employee onboarding, payroll administration and records management. You’ll be a people person who enjoys interacting with a diverse range of individuals and someone who enjoys doing things differently (we love new ideas!). This part time role may suit a parent seeking shorter and flexible work hours or someone looking to scale back from full time work.

To fit with our passionate, high performing team, we seek a motivated self-starter and approachable team member who demonstrates a strong work ethic and integrity at all times.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Engage in a broad range of HR activities, in a fast-growing, dynamic business environment.
  • Be responsible for recruitment activities, such as candidate review and shortlisting, phone screening and scheduling and hosting interviews.
  • Liaising with the Managing Director, Operations Manager and key team members throughout the recruitment process to assess candidate suitability.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant HR documentation in line with company policy and statutory obligations.
  • Establishing and supporting best practice pre-boarding, onboarding and induction for new team members and routine HR activities.
  • Facilitate the performance review process for team members, liaising with Line Managers and maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Administration of monthly payroll for a team of 25 and preparation of reports for Operations Manager.
  • Organise hardware and welcome packs for new starters.
  • Align actions with company policies and procedures


What you’ll have:

  • Essential - previous experience across key HR activities including recruitment
  • Knowledge of relevant HR legislation
  • Previous experience in Xero (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong skills across Google suite of products
  • Strong organisational skills and a sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to show initiative with a proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to prioritise workload and ensure deadlines are met
  • The desire to learn and take on new challenges in an ever-changing environment
