Your new company Your new company is a reputable metal work company that specialises in roofing and other sheet metal products based in Fyshwick. They are looking for an experienced MR truck driver with Hiab experience. Your new role The hours will be Monday to Friday, 7am til 3pm, with some potential for over time during the week and the occasional Saturday if needed. Your day to day will involve:
Driving the MR truck from the factory to various construction sites and utilising the hiab to unload products.
Using the company app on your phone to manage deliveries.
Operating the forklift in the factory / yard to unload trucks and move stock.
Some items on deliveries and in the factory will have to be moved manually by hand.
Occasionally assisting with general warehousing duties such as cleaning and tidying in between deliveries.
What you'll need to succeed The successful applicant will have:
An MR truck licence or higher with demonstrated recent truck driving experience
A Forklift licence and demonstrated operating experience
Experience operating a Hiab (or at least be willing to learn)
White Card, Asbestos Awareness & Silica Awareness tickets will be advantageous
Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous
