The Roadhouse is a café by day, and a top-notch restaurant by night. The menu is an impressive experience, with a wide range of locally sourced ingredients being utilised to the fullest. This extends from breakfast through to the evening when The Roadhouse transforms from café into restaurant.
We are currently looking for a chef to join our team.
About the role
As a Chef you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
• Maintain and uplift of quality and service standards
• Craft exceptional dishes that spotlight local seasonal produce
• Contribute to menu development and culinary innovation
• Monitor daily Food Safety checklist and ensure strict adherence
• Complete stock management of all goods including ordering, rotation, and amendments
• Complete staff rostering, manage development & hiring and ensure the team delivers outstanding service to customers
• Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment
About you
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a fast paced, high-volume venue a must
• Ability to work collaborative in a high-energy kitchen
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and mornings.

Salary expectation: $70,000 - $85,000
