Kushi 1914 Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join their team in Mareeba.
You will be preparing, cooking, and seasoning foods in our establishment.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Preparing and cooking food
- Seasoning food during cooking
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- May plan menus and estimate food requirements
- May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
Applicants must have a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management with at least 1 year full time work experience as a cook.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of $63,000 + Super.
