Registered Nurse - RN
We are looking for patient and compassionate Registered Nurses to help patients in our clients’ Disability and Aged Care facilities.
To be successful as a Registered Nurse you must be passionate about providing the highest quality of care to all patients. You will be responsible to collaborate with other health professionals to formulate patient care plans.
Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
? Administration of medication.
? Documentation of vital signs, medication intake, patient assessment, etc.
? Assisting with meal consumption
? Family and patient education.
? Assisting patients in the bathroom.
? Changing bed sheets and clothing.
? Infection control and prevention.
? Wound care
? Palliative care, restorative care and pain management.
? Assisting in admission and help ease the transition for patients and their families.
? Liaise with patients, family, medical team, and other residences in the facility.
Registered Nurse Requirements:
? A 3-year Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
? Police Check
? Current AHPRA registration
? Registered nurses deliver a higher level of care and will usually be responsible for the supervision of assistant and enrolled nurses.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work long or weekend shifts.
Other details
o Salary commensurate with work experience and qualifications and will be in the range from $71,000 per annum + Superannuation.
o This position is full-time based on at least 38 hours per week of employment.
o Location: Newcastle and Hunter region.
