Position: Family Support Workers

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
Kinder Souls is an accredited care services provider based in NSW that specialises in home-care services and provide excellent standards of personalised care to clients in various settings such as nursing homes, care homes and residential settings. Our range of services include but are not limited to palliative care, disability support, nursing services, counselling, travel escorts and help around the home.
We are therefore seeking highly-skilled family support workers to work with families to improve their living and coping skills. The right candidate for this full-time role must be able to perform the following duties and meet the following requirements:
• Some of the duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Provide a range of support to clients including, but not limited to, counselling, information provision and emotional support and guidance for families
• Demonstrate exceptional problem solving skills for the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
• Support clients who may be experiencing inequality, injustice or discrimination
• Contribute towards improving service development and quality improvement
• Assess clients’ needs and ensure they are able to access support services appropriately
• Continuously evaluating and reviewing support plans to ensure they are meeting the needs of families over time
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in a family’s care such as psychologists or social workers
• Communicate with different areas of the community
• Administer medicines
Essential requirements:
• Hold at least a Diploma level of qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years' industry experience
• Be very compassionate and caring
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic
• Clear police checks
• Fully Vaccinated
