Project Description:
We are currently working with one of the top 4 Australian banks, who are currently using Calypso V16.1 as a front to back office system for Fixed income and IR derivatives business.
You will be involved in Calypso upgrades, cloud migration interfaces, Global EOD into Calypso. Calypso skills on Fixed Income, IRD, MM will be used to assist in configuring / updating P&L reports, Risk Reports, Batch optimisation. Etc. You will also be participated in upgrade reconciliation, Integrating & reconciling of multiple downstream and upstream systems. This is the ideal role for Calypso resources to utilize their skills in a complex multi-year project and provide exposure to all the modules in calypso and also supporting trading / sales desks.
You will be a BO Business Analyst focusing on IRD, Money Market and Credit Derivatives.
Responsibilities:
• The successful candidate will work on both technical and functional aspects of various Calypso projects including Global EOD, Cloud relocation of interfaces, Version upgrades..etc,
• Activities may include: Running user workshops to understand and draw up business processes, understanding current legacy implementations and capturing functional and technical business requirements.
• The role will also involve configuration, integration, testing and development and documentation of the system.
• Willing to do L3 Support if required.
• On call, and weekend support (releases etc) might be required from time to time but will be compensated.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Calypso business analyst on Calypso back office.
• Experience on Calypso versions v14 to v17.
• In depth knowledge of Static Data, ScheduledTask, Position Reports, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
• Understanding of different asset classes IRD, Fixed Income, Money Market..etc
• Experience with regulatory reporting.
• Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• DevOps experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc)
• Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership
• Experience with Rates, Fixed Income
