The successful individual for this team will have demonstrated at least 8 years of experience in Software Development and the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders. This individual will be creative, innovative, with the opportunity to play an impactful role in the evolution of this product.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to and maintain a high-quality codebase with good software principals and Review code work for accuracy and functionality
Designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features
Debugging, maintaining, and scaling applications
Collaborating with internal users to automate workflows to provide clients with an efficient and accurate service
Troubleshooting issues and problem solving as necessary
Keeping current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company needs
Willingness to learn and ability to quickly understand new concepts and able to interact with all levels of technical and business teams
Skills and Experience:
Relevant degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in a comparable position in SaaS companies
Proven ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment
Strong knowledge of computer languages – PHP, Python & Javascript
Be able to demonstrate your coding ability
Knowledge of HTML technologies and web frameworks
DevOps practices in an agile software development environment including CI/CD, and deployment/management of cloud services - ideally AWS
Relational database design and administration – MySQL or MariaDB
