The eCommerce Senior Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the management across the full project life-cycle for delivering major eCommerce solutions for a number of organisations predominantly in the retail sector. The role is to be responsible for defining the project, ensuring the project is delivered on time, budget and adhering to quality standards. You will also be responsible for resource management and relationship management with a wide range of stakeholders.

The PM role will be client-facing therefore you must have exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels within an organisation. You will have overall responsibility for the delivery of high profile projects that are typically between 6 - 12 months in duration with budgets up to $2m, therefore ideally you would have experience managing projects of similar size and scope.


Key role responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and manage changes to scope, schedule and cost
  • Align project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility and coordinate budget estimates
  • Manage the relationship with the client and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with all functional teams to build strong internal relationships
  • Proactively seek opportunities for client account growth to achieve company targets.
  • Support the Senior Leadership team in the design and implementation of the Tryzens project Management Framework and best practice processes for the entire Delivery Practice
  • Act as a partner and trusted advisor for the client
  • As a member of the PMO team, provide input into the enhancement of Tryzens Delivery processes and methodology.
  • Able to manage one or two large projects or a couple of small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at the Project level.
  • Communicates Project status and progress (inc budget) to customers effectively, and escalating where necessary to key stakeholders
  • During the course of an engagement, be the primary customer interface and perform project management activities that ensures adherence to Tryzens delivery methodology
  • Fostering open communication within the team on project planning and execution.
  • Maintain project management deliverables.
  • Proactively lead and co-ordinate all planning for client's peak trading period

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven working experience in project management ideally in an agency environment with E-commerce projects from inception to launch
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent line management, matrix management and mentoring skills
  • Experience using MS Project, Jira and Confluence
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering end to end system implementations' ideally eCommerce solutions (Demandware/Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, WCS, Hybris).
  • Experience in managing large scale projects across the full SDLC $1m+.
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile & Prince 2.
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Previous experience using Jira, Confluence & Microsoft tools.
  • Ability to resource plan, financial planning, control and reporting efficiently and effectively
