About You:
Are you a motivated, detail-oriented legal professional ready to make an impact? Here's what we're looking for:
Degree qualification in Law or equivalent, allowing admission to practice as a solicitor or barrister in NSW.
Admission to practice as a solicitor or barrister in NSW and a current Practising Certificate for legal practice in Council.
Extensive post-admission experience.
Experience in one or more areas of law: commercial/contract, property, planning, intellectual property, privacy, administrative, and local government law.
Strong ability to assess and interpret information, provide specialist advice, and prioritise work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High-level interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Commitment to ethical practice and acting with probity.
Experience in local government or government environments.
Working knowledge of Court documents, processes, and protocols.
