About the People Group @ Canva

Canva’s People Group has a big mission to build the most effective and engaged company in the world! Our success is finding, growing and empowering the best engineers, designers, product managers, growth marketers and operators to ship incredible products for our global design community.

We are looking for talented Individuals with skills across Talent Acquisition & Talent Brand:


Talent Acquisition Partner

- Full life-cycle recruiting: You’ll get to own the recruiting process from start to finish, sourcing, interviewing and hiring top talent
- Sourcing: You’ll be responsible for developing and executing on sourcing strategies that deliver the strongest results and make sure we’re bringing top talent into the business
- Diversity strategies: We’re super proud of the diversity of thought we've built onto these teams, however, we've only just started. You'll continue to collaborate with the team to create diversity and inclusion plans for hiring
- Hire the best: Your focus will be on hiring quality candidates with agility and speed
- Partner with your hiring managers: You will work closely with your hiring managers to gain a deeper understanding of how each role fits into Canva
- Obsess about candidate experience: At Canva we care deeply about our People. Our candidate experience isn’t anything different. You are well-spoken on the phone and articulate over emails. You can effectively share the Canva story, vision and culture and act as a brand ambassador
- Data-driven: You are always trying to improve our hiring process and you will think with a data-first approach


Talent Brand Partner

- Have Inclusion at the heart of everything: Ensure Canva’s values, social initiatives and culture resonates with a diverse set of candidates and that our DE&I strategy is embedded into all our campaigns and messaging
- Understand Canva and what makes us special: Identify ways to amplify those attributes through activating and measuring talent campaigns, partners, events and nurture strategy
- Be an authentic storyteller: Develop creative ways to show candidates what it's really like to work at Canva
- Collaboration and partnership: Work with the Recruiting Enablement Lead to plan and execute branding and recruiting events and ensure ongoing and innovative candidate engagement programs to continuously evolve our employer brand.
- Identify partners and platforms to position Canva with key talent: Bring our vision to life and help Canva to recruit the best, most qualified, and diverse candidates that help to build on our rich company culture
- Create peak moments: Map out and own the end to end candidate experience journey to ensure it’s delightful and inclusive
- Know the talent landscape: Have your finger on the talent trends pulse, updating the recruiting team, proposing new ways to engage with candidates and ensure Canva has a presence at industry events, where it is beneficial.
- Build relationships with key internal partners: Work with Marketing & Brand, Corporate Communications and our broader People Experience team to help build our external narrative
- Build and demonstrate success: Use data and associated KPIs that result in enhanced, targeted and diverse candidate attraction
