AMG Civil Group is looking for a dedicated and passionate Civil Engineer to join their team in Epping VIC.

Location: 20 Graystone Court, Epping VIC 3076
Salary: $77,000 + superannuation
Hours: Full Time: 38 hours per week

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Plan and coordinate project activities and resources, such as materials, equipment, personnel and subcontractors, to ensure project deadlines are met;
• Estimate construction cost and submit tender documentation;
• Create and manage project schedules;
• Monitor and update project progress against established timelines and budgets;
• Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation plans to minimise potential negative impacts;
• Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards;
• Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors and vendors, to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns;
• Ensure compliance with local Council Guidelines and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals;
• Manage subcontractor relationships, including negotiating and reviewing contracts as well as ensuring work is completed on time and within budget;
• Conduct regular HSEQ inspections and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, project specific requirements and best practices;
• Lead project teams; provide direction and support whilst overseeing their work; and
• Evaluate project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement or cost-savings.

Essential Criteria:
• Sound knowledge in engineering principles;
• A proficient understanding of Australian Standards in relation to civil engineering;
• A minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (civil engineering preferred).
• No convictions on Police Check.
