Zeally Bay Sourdough is looking for an experienced baker with above average skills and plenty of scope for promotion who'd enjoy a Surfcoast Lifestyle - we are located in Torquay.

We are a passionate team that makes the highest quality sourdough breads that are nutritious and chemical-free as well as ethically grown - only Certified Organic sourdough can guarantee that.

We make our bread largely by hand with tradition leading our way. We are looking for someone who is systematic, interested in the wonder of sourdough baking and fermented foods, pays attention to detail and values teamwork.

You will be joining a team of bakers who can share the skills and craft of real baking with you. Our workplace is modern, professional, diverse and friendly.

Job Description

Hand moulding and managing doughs
Mixing of doughs / operation of mixers
Managing the temperature of rooms and doughs and leavens
Managing the timing of doughs, mixing, flipping, scaling, proving, baking etc
Maintenance of a high standard of quality
Ensuring a consistent production outcome, especially in regards to hand moulding and baking
Teamwork
Completing OHS and cleaning checklists
Ongoing industry development
Reporting to Leaders and Head Baker
